I'm currently building Ando - you can think of it as Slack that works better for humans *and* agents.

I previously cofounded Alloy, which I'm now involved with as a board member.

In my spare time, I explore the web, read about language theory, and study technology more broadly - history, market currents, and emerging research.

I'm a self-taught engineer but I'm naturally a much stronger designer, so that's what I practice these days. Either way, I'm happiest when I get to work with other builders to realize ambitious projects.

Prior to all of this, I dropped out of Harvard / was a Thiel Fellow. I was born and raised in Atlanta, and have rotated between LA, NYC, and SF in my adult life.

My favorite color is an electric #002FA7 and my favorite authors are Hemingway and Murakami.

I think about Yves Klein a lot, how obsessed he was with perfecting one shade of blue. He worked with chemists for years until they were able to lock the exact pigment in place. That level of focus, of refusing to compromise until it’s exactly right, is something I deeply admire.
